who has nankangs tyres and what are they like?
grip compared to other more expensive brands?
wet grip?
noise?
ride harshness?
wear?
they look ok but whats the go before i fit these rims probably today. cept to busy but hopefully lunchtime.
currently have kumhos fitted which grip well last about 25,000ks
got 245 19s on front 265 19s on rear. grip well, very low noise, wear is pretty bad on rears (to be expected). i get 15,000km to rears, put fronts on 30,000km ago, still 70% tread
they are nankang ultra sport nsIIs
Got a set of Nangkang 235/40/18 ns2's last week fitted to the Wife's Berlina & So far they have been great. Not noisey Good grip Nice looking. to early for wear im impressed so far & at there price I payed $159 per corner. bloody good. Oh & they compare very well to the Clubby that has Bridgestone S0-3 235/40/18 So i'll most likey go a set of Nankang's for that when it needs new rubber

I got a set of Nangkang ultra sport NSII's - 245/40/18's about a month ago and am pretty happy with them for the price.
Grip in the dry is good and reasonable in the wet.
Not quite as good as the RE040's when it comes to high speed cornering. They feel a little spongey when pushed.
Overall, very good value for the money.
Cheers,
Scott

I am going to get these for the rears within the next few weeks. After a fair bit of research on the net, they appear to be pretty good bang for bucks with a nice compromise for dry grip, wet grip, noise and cornering.
Been quoted $185 a piece, but will try for the $160 or so price that Mike got.
