New SaliV8 SV8 advertising.

Anyone else seen the new SaliV8 ads on Bolte Bridge and/or Monash Freeway yet? They seem to be showing the SV8 in what looks to be a Turismo color, but then it could just be a high contrast photo of the Impulse Blue.

Anyone know anything about this at all?

id like to see the sedans in that colour. it worked ok on the monaro, not a favourite though. it might translate better to sedan. in contrast to almost everyone else, i thought the devil yellow on the sv6000 looked amazing..really brought out the front end, lights etc.

i've seen a Turismo Blue SS Sedan (VY), nothing crash hot IMO.

also saw a VU SS Ute in Turismo today, also nothing to write home about. Keep it for the Monaro and HSV GTO.

SS in Turismo was at the Melb motor show the other week - available as an optional colour, $319 IIRC. I have now twice seen a Midnight Blue SIII Monaro driving up from Southbank past the Art Centre - US 2005 GTO colour. I would buy one - looks sweet. Must be a GM test colour vehicle.

Not sure Tursimo would work on the sedans ... dont know why but i just cant see it working that well .. but thats just my opinion ... as for Tursimo on the Monaro? Well having one myself in this colour all i can say is whereever i go i get at least 2 or 3 strangers asking me about the colour, its name and how much they love it .... Every time i go for a cruise with my brother inlaw and his VZ impulse blue clubby (both cars) he's always telling me how much more attention my car gets and not just because its a coupe but because of its colour .... All i can say is that pictures do nothing to show this colour off ... in the flesh it stands out a lot more and looks good both in bright sunlight and low light ...... i was down @ the rocks one night and even had 2 motorcycle cops next to me aksing me about the colour and how good it looks ... even the dealer where i've placed the order for my GTO in the same colour tried talking me out of Turismo until he came outside and saw my Monaro ... he quickly changed his mind as he didnt realise how great it looks in the flesh.

IMO Turismo and Yellow Devil stand out the most in the coupes ... and this is going by attention u get .... these colours in sedans? im not sure ... in sedans id rather impulse or black. So id be surprised if Turismo will be offered in sedans as it is a limited colour in the coupes.

Yeah, I've seen them myself too, the Sedans that is, but I think it might have been the original Turismo test color, which wasn't as rich or deep as the current shade. Too much pastel it was whereas the new color is shaweeet.

Agree with COUPE, I don't think Turismo or Devil Yellow suit the sedans at all.

yeah i saw the SS at the melbourne motorshow in turismo.
(does that mean it will be VZII hero colour? follows the trend of hothouse, then the purple then impulse blue...)

i didnt like it at all. Looked like a kids toy or something, i dont know. wasnt a fan anyway.
