Finally broke into the 260's rwkw at the Albury round of the AME (FORD v HOLDEN ) show. :D
Day 1 car had three consecutive runs 348.2hp, 351.1hp and 351.3hp
Day 2 car had three consecutive runs 351.1hp, 351.3hp and 354.7hp
Which if my calculations are correct converts to 264.82 rwkw.
Thanks to Phonsy from GM for the tune
While im rapped with power output ,im starting to think its me not the car stuggling to improve 1/4 times , oh well out to calder this Friday to practice.
As a whole the weekend seem to go well  good amount of spectators good amount of exhibitors (G & D , Harrop, GM Motorsport ,) Quality was good and most display cars were Holdens and Fords with a few others sprinkled around .
If someone can let me know how to put pictures and video on ill try to put them on .

Man I most jealous. Well done :D If yours has not been opened what have you done to it. I'm getting ready for an edit soon. I have extractors & hi flow system and a MCAI. I dont think I will get to your level though.
Phonsy is a bit of a legend. I going to see him on Friday for some "tweaks" so that I will be ready for the HSV nationals later this month, cannot wait :D

HUGE congrats Dee Jay!!! GREAT bolt on result!!!
Any info on who/what won the various V8 classes? How did the other LS1's go?
With respect to your 1/4 times:
Which tyres are you running?
What pressure do you run them at?
What is your current launch RPM?
What is your 60 foot time?
Dee Jay

Tigrrss You will find the biggest gain in an Edit , as for any other Mods wait until after the tune.

Heh heh... Good one... Just get it to rev like a Ferrari and you're on your way... :)

As for other LS1s
G & D had a problem with the display car so it didnt run, Mario from had a customer car with a small blower which ran a healthy 388 rwhp ,Gary Myers Mustang ran a disapointing 265rwhp (they felt they had transmition problems) big Torque though, GM motorsport a customer ute run 402rwhp.
If i missed anyone im sorry i didnt see all the runs.
By the way it was the best dyno venue that i have seen it was just like going to the movie's but better .

By the way it was the best dyno venue that i have seen it was just like going to the movie's but better .We didn't have any problems with our dispaly car & never intended to run it on the dyno.We were tempted & would've loved to run TCB57's big 410 up on ther dyno but 4000rpm convertor + lots of torque from the big engine + dyno = lots of heat & strain on the Auto.To top it off big convertors kill RWKW's.Even still she's made 352rwkw(471rwhp) on our dyno during a quick shake down using the big convertor, would probably equate to 380rwkw plus if it were manual. We'd rather keep her in tip top shape for TCB for the LS1 nat's. ;)

Hey Glenn. Just lock it up. Unless its a cheaper converter than cant handle the lockup. Which in that case I would say is under spec. for the HP you are putting out.

What a lovely set of numbers........
I wonder what a set of 1.8 rockers will do to it? :)
What other things are done to your car? I guess a ripshift's a given :D and obviously different tyres.....anything else?

We had a great time on the dyno with our customers Ripshift Equipt cars taking home 4 trophies.
Unopened LS1
Modified LS1
Highest H.P outright LS1
Modified B.A
Big thank you go out to Ted who lent us his cam only VX Maloo( fastest cam only ls1 in australia 11.6 )
We had it fully loaded with 2 gearboxes ,stands and display cabinet on the trip up from Melb to albury.
Unloaded the the equipment and straight on to the dyno to take out the Highest H.P outright LS1.
When we rang to tell him his reaction was much like a Toyota advert.

Hey Glenn. Just lock it up. Unless its a cheaper converter than cant handle the lockup. Which in that case I would say is under spec. for the HP you are putting out.We use Dominator & have had much success. They have recommended not to lock them up though as they don't have enough surface area to handle that kind of punishment with the big engine. We just haven't got enough time to risk failure before the Nats. We've got to many of our cars still in a million pieces as it is :(
