After going to calder last friday night and not being able to launch or hook the cv8 up, Ive booked my car in to get the bigger 1'7/8 Extractors, Dominator 3'000 Converter, Nice n dandy tune & hopefully a nice set of ET slicks..........
So as u can tell, the bug bit me hard & thanks to all for the advice on the night!

Definately count me in for next week though, Fingers crossed car will be ready by then!

I pulled a 13.5 @ 110mph on bald street tyres on my first outting so give me a few more runs to get use to it and nice set of ET's. Bit disappointed because Im dying for a decent 12 but just need a bit of experience on the strip. Ill post timeslip when I get access to a scanner....

I know its only Thursday ,but seeing as it is p1ssing down hear at the momment is tomorrow still a go?

The reason i ask is that a while back it rained on the Thursday ,Friday was sunny but no Calder , as the heavy rain the day before didnt allow time for the strip to be prepped.

Im sure it will be ok Dee jay, that time was when it rained for those 2 days and we had about 2" of rain, the bottom end of the track was flooded, the rain is clearing this arvo.

I didnt race. Pity, as there were only 50 cars. If I had known I would have got there earlier.

I pitted with Anthony VX8255 and he pulled off another PB of 12.13@112.8mph. His tyres are now rooted and needs bigger injectors.

No side wall crashes to keep us amused though. :mad:

I saw RedSV8 pull off another great time of 12.13 in his bolt-on "super-stocker". SLY pulled off similar 12.13 passes.
