yep...it was 1.6 :D .....still managed to beat the other guy...who was in a VY SS ute :p
not too fazed about winning...just trying to get my time down into the 12's....should do it with the colder weather...really want to get there before doing the diff.....
Excellent work, bet you give some 6L VZ HSV's a rude shock.
Diff gears should give it some pull out of the hole. You may need to address the traction though.
What revs is it shifting at? You should lower your left hand so we all can see for the next meeting.

Farkin Freak, it was actually a genuine question, not a deduction.
As it turns out he was racing someone, and won, well done and
good luck getting into the twelves blackjacknz.
I deduct you should put your brain in gear before your ten thumbs
start typing

That guy in the ss ute..........if it was red with a roll bar..........then it was me  I had a shocker of a night but holy fark your car was quick. My best ended up being just a 14.8. Was my first outing and on really shitty tyres. I was hoping for about 14.4-14.6 but what can ya do? Wait a tic, it was you! Reaction time of 1.698? Have a laugh and see my final time :) Oh well, I was surprised to see the other LS1 stockers do so poorly, the blokes I spoke to didn't even get below low/mid 15's.

My reaction times are around 0.2 with 60' at around 2.45-2.5 but on that run my reaction was .255, 60' was 2.7 with a final of 15.476 at 145.21. It was the slowest of my runs. Not making excuses but I reckon if I had good tyres on it would of been a night of 14.3 - 14.6. Either way, I thought it was pretty funny, lights went green and saw this 6 behind me, I thought, shit yeah, smashed him, until like a second or two after  I thought I had a chance for once, my other runs were up against a 10, an 11 and a 12 second car.
Like I said though, I talked to a few of the blokes around and they weren't crackin 15.4-15.6. There was one VU SS that ran like a 14.3 or around there.
Either way, congrats on the time.

yeh..and remember i was running slicks that night as well...helps just a bit :D
did manage to get a 1.945 60 ft time...but was 2mph down on my prev top end speed...so the night was too hot still....give it a few months. I only ran twice..did a 13.2 & 13.14...that last run of the 13.145 was the 2nd quickest ive done..(pb of 13.12)..so with the colder weather it will get the 12....hopefully...

 I was trying to figure out why it was such a low MPH run for the time so I went and re-read the post, it's a V6 supercharged  That is a very tidy time for what it is, and also running the standard diff. Let me look at my crystal ball (instead of the 2 that are crystalizing) and I am sure a 12 second pass is in your near future. Good luck with your quest.
Great time blackjacknz - 12's are around the corner
I'l love to know more about your camera setup - the picture was relatively steady and the sound was awesome.
Cheers,
Simon

i just use a length of square shape "U" alloy. Have 5 holes drilled in it...2 each for the headrests and one for the camera...so it gets held in place by the headrests and the camera sits in the centre..will post a pc if you want...took me about 10 mins to make....

Thanks for all the comments guys....will head back down in a few weeks when the weather is cooler here and try once again for that 12sec pass. Im trying to get the 12 sec pass before i do the diff.....will chg from 3.07 non lsd to 3.73 lsd...which would give me consistent times in the high 12's. Might stop there
or maybe not ;)
