guys i have serious question...

i did a few 0 - 100 kms runs after i passed the 1000 kms mark just to see how 6.1 sec to 100 feels like. So its like this, me driving and my friend is next to me with a less than 3/4 fuel and AC on. Am kinda fat and my friend is about 88 kgs

1st run with traction and power - 8.16
2nd run with traction and no power - 8.23
3rd run with no traction and power - 8.13
4th run with 1st gear and no traction and power - 8.53

so Why the H##L doesnt the car get to 100 in the 6.XX range !!!

Its the grille...... take it off, supposed to be a holden not a chev. :stick: :lol:

As for your speeds, unsure to why you cant do it in the 6 second bracket.
Ive never tested it with mine.

mobile stop watch. There is a stopwatch in the car and i equiped it in my dash comp. but how do i reset it :/ i tried to reset the whole thing but it still didnt reset the stopwatch ? any thoughts on that guys ?

Couple of guesses:
1. Your car doesn't have enough km on it yet to do those sorts of times - magazine test cars usually have a few thousand on them when they do those sorts of times.
2. It's too hot where you are.
3. Having the A/C on won't help.

yea i heard that the ls1 needs more time to fully broken in to get goot times

G'day,
Nice looking car! Those times are fairly typical where i come from with non-edited SS's, and I believe your fuel may not be the highest spec all the time. Get in touch with one of the tuners here or Delco for possibly a mail order tune and your tyre wear will increase exponentially! :D

You will find that on 100% throttle application the AC system is turned off. Also if you rev past 4800RPM the same will also happen (NOT at WoT).

As people have mentioned, 1000km's is buggerall for an LS1 to loosen up, give it another 9000km's :)

Apart from that EDIT !! that will turn off the Auto Trans abuse mode which can make your 250kw engine a 2.5kw engine :)

the car got repainted in some areas ( hood, rear bumper, left rear side, etc .. ) , the paint looks wierd though , its so distorted, even the reflections from it looks different
