(Note the quality has been kept low to keep the file size down.)

My friends have jokingly refered to me as a car hoon. I don't think they had in mind what the Media is portraying.

Brain Fear - be a little more specific about time frame, confirm it was by ACA, and if it was about "hoons" or "P Platers" or "modified cars" etc. (I have a fair collection of TT / ACA segments on car related issues. If I do have it, you'll probably have to wait a day before I get the time to process/upload it.)

Sorry to say it but if ever there's was proof that some parts of the gene pool require some extra chlorine, that documentary was it.

Don't remember the date or time. It was by ACA, wasn't too long ago, about 2 weeks perhaps.

Couldn't agree more.

They think owning a 'high-powered' car instantly gives they have the authority to do what they like, when they like. They even think it gives them brains.

I'm sure if you opened their skull all you'd find would be thick sludge, but no brains.

Like most ACA stories, this one completely misses the mark and goes well beyond car hoons. It's Lebanese gangs vs. the NSW police force, plain and simple. What Steve Price said was right on the money. I think the residents of Sydney would be in favor of police taking them on and if they currently don't have the resources then additional funding should come from the federal government to tackle this problem because failing to deal with it at a state level will allow it to become a national one. They need a task force to keep tabs on them and sooner or later they'll find out where the money is coming from to pay for some of those cars and you can fill in the blanks from there.

Those morons clearly acted up for the camera. Imagine a dark back-street somewhere, no cameras or lights, the scenario would have been very different. Once again it is cheap journalism, pre-determined sensational outcome. On a side note, "beat the heat" has been completely banned from touring other states apparently. A fine outcome from the last commissioners conference. Ahh, thanks Mr Maroney, its better to block a safety initiaive than to be shamed/embarrassed into participating.

LOL! Yep pointed at the screen..

Sorry, no, I would assume he used either a Analog TV Tuner card or a Digital TV Tuner Card. Much better quality, can be scheduled and pretty much saved/converted into any format you want.

Analog's are pretty cheap now, 'bout 80 shmackoes.. or a HDTV Digital for arout $180 last time I checked. Check out your local computer shop..

i have a tv card in this computer..

But its a ACER mutlimedia PC where you have to switch PC mode into hibernation to swtich to the Radio/TV/VCR mode

I didnt know if all TV cards were the same

how do you get this footage?

VCR to PC via Dvico FusionHDTV DV3-T TV card

I use Dscaler, VirtualDub and Windows Media Player to get the final output.

just watched those 3 movies of aca hoons... and my god that is absurd of the abuse and activitys those people are doing around major roads....
