Hi,
I've been wondering if anyone knows of a way to get those great monaro rear seats into a normal sedan (VX in particular). Ive heard people say you can't, but i dont know what the reason is. Too short? Is there any conceivable way to get those rear seats in there?
Cheers,
Tom

Not sure if this helps but I saw a company advertising a rear bench seat for a Monaro (replacing the two buckets - why god knows!) in a Street Commodores magazine.

They may know more about the set up and give you some help. If I find the company I will post details.

Cheers

The rear of a Monaro is narrower than a sedan. So you could probably get the seat in, with a gap either side to the side-panels which you'd have to fill. Why would you want to lose the middle rear? Got two kids and a red-haired stepchild?

And the Monaro front seats may not work in a sedan - rooflines' lower, so presumably the seat is shorter and then there's the wiring which may be different 'cause of the memory function.
