Lot of good stuff, boats, cars, dutton and drifts.
Lot of coverage of Mr where theres smoke theres darren park :lol:
Good bit of steerin and great work by Sam and his team, 1st outright on queensland raceway is huge beating the porches and all.

Anyone tape it and can put it up? Did ya see the stack in the the fsomething class :eek:

yeah speedweed was great. had the boats on my local river, and that f3 crash was crazy, then the dutton (shame there wasn't more coverage of it), and the drifting...a good two hours

From memory I think the rex is rear wheel drive. Great work by appleton in the CAPA ute. Not a bad effort for his first drive of the 1000hp monsta ute. I am sure if bolger had of been it he would have kicked a bit more assss.

Had quite a few calls today telling me I have a great head for RADIO! :lol:

Not quite on top kiwi. We were outright first at QLD raceway and got a win at the drags. We broke a spring and missed a couple of events which just hammered us for the outright position. Still we got a first in class and second outright on handicap (handicap is not because i am behind the wheel) which we were happy with. Hopefully I will pick up my act and drive better in the next one in a months time in Sydney. definately wont get any points for the street stage in goulburn. Thats a sacrificial points event for me as there is always a good crowd. Where theres a crowd theres lots of smoke :lol: I just cant help myself.

Melb one will be great with HSV105 coming along in his Blown Stroker.

The outright win went to an LS1.com.au. member. He's a little shy but also a Sams customer with his VY but won in an awsomely prepared Evo 8.

Darren, with that camera mounted on your car, i was surprised at the amount of movement in the rear end, seemed to be alot of toe in and out...does that affect your handling noticably?

I got the whole show in DVD quality. I can probably Xvid it down a bit but its still gonna be big. If there's somewhere I can host it I will process/upload it (minus the add's heh).

V Car. Thanks for that. I will add it to my book of excuses for when I get beat :D Seriously though it has to be hurting my handling. I will update the cradle mount pads with the Nolathane which tightens the rear but gives a harsher ride through the body.
A couple of people have said that. I will have a look at the footage. Some said it looked like tyre flex where the tyre moves on the sidewalls due to the side ways force, also that cradle doesnt have the toe links on it which could be causing some issues. Hopefully we will fix it before the next event.

watched it yesterday, some awesome stuff on there. dutton rally looked good. my only complaint was when darren was doing his lap of the broadwater carpark and the camera they showed for the whole lap was lookin at the back tyre. i kinda wanted to see it from above, not look at the rear tyre and where he has been. apart from that, was some awesome footage. well done darren. some awesome driving there

I have re-encoded from day2 of the dutton rally.
This leaves approx 45mins worth of speedweek including darren's lap and the capa ute.
It is 281mb though, Down from 1.7Gb.
If anyone still wants it and can provide a webspace to host I will upload it. :)
