Next public TestNTune is Wednesday the 11th of May. I'll be there, along with some of the folks from the workshop I use. We'll be playing around with the setup of mine to get all this power under control (and to teach the doofus driver how to drive). The following Saturday is also a TestNTune.

Per Joe 09, all the TestNTunes are listed on the Willowbank website, so you can always keep up to date there.

Definitely look out for us at the end of the staging lanes. I can honestly say that all the folks from on here are tremendously helpful, and will definitely offer you any assistance you feel you'd like.

cheers roarz. sounds good - may have to try and make the cruise up on the wednesday night. never done it b4 so would like to see what time I can run. any hints - ie: should I take off hard tonneau cover, tailgate, sparewheel etc - or for a novice should I just run the thing? Class me in the "doofus" area!

Most important tip: Don't feel compelled to race the other car, and IGNORE the green light. Your 60ft, ET and MPH are measured only after YOU start to move NOT when the light goes green. Therefore, just roll up, get yourself comfortable, and when the light goes green, take off when you are ready. That is a great way to get used to what is going on around you. You may be 100% happy after a couple of runs, and then you can get into all the nitty gritty stuff, or perhaps you'll just enjoy your first night for what it is, and then get into "ideal scenarios" on your second outing.

The following Saturday is also a TestNTune.

I was WRONG! Saturday 14th is NOT a TestNTune. It's National Opens!

Definitely no helmets to hire out there.

Borrow might be a go. Do check though as sweaty heads not nice for sharing helmets... :)

Nearest Cash Converters, saves having to beg / steal or borrow each time you head track-wise...should pick one up south of $50.00 no problem ;)
