VY GTS: $55,000 in Daily Telegraph

Did anyone see the ad in the cars guide section of todays Daily Telegraph (part of a full page ad for suttons maybe or another dealer) of a black VY GTS advertised for $55,000?

Is that the going rate for a 300kW Flagship HSV now days?

Did anyone ring and find out more, or know if anything is wrong with it or something??

There was no disclaimer anywhere on the page that said "photos are for display purposes only, and it's actually a VT"

ive only ever seen a VX gts as the have big buldge things in the doors .... looks pretty gay i think ... but im sure theys topped it at VX

Yes there were avaliable in VY GTS sedan & VYII GTS sedan but not VZ

I can see a high K car going for mid 50's, but is probably less than average condition

My guess is that its probably a typo, with "y" being next to "t" on the keyboard, easy mistake to make.

It didn't say it was a VY. It didn't specify what model it was. The ad read: "HSV 300kW GTS $55,000"
and had a picture of a black VY GTS under it.

Of course, it could have been a Black berlina with bodykit, badges, wheels and edit... ;)

I should have rung the dealer... had a mobile number under the ad

I can see a couple of VY GTS's for a $55-60K dealer asking price. 2002 model, with more than 40000kms. (carsguide.news.com.au.

I didn't think they sold the GTS Sedan in 2004, just the GTS Coupe..
