Do those 56 Adventras include the new V6 model? With only 79 4x4 ute sales, there's not a lot of the 4x4 platform rolling off the floor. Add the odd Avalanche and a few Coupe4s as well - Holden would be fairly disappointed with that you'd think.

Big month for the Jackaroo.
5 sales for the month - compared to 1 for the first 3 months :)

I wonder how many Holden still actually have in stock as I thought it was nolonger imported a long time ago and I'd imagine they wouldn't be importing any based on individual orders?
and...omg LTD sales nearly met 3/4 of the past ytd total...I bet you find more Statesmans' idling with aircon on in a Dubai shopping centre carpark.
and I wonder if Rodeo and Commodore 1 tonner ute were the same price/spec level which way buyers would go?

How long before Holden just stop making the Adventra?

Both Commodore and Falcon sales seem a bit on the weak side compared with a few years back...

Due to delays, Holden only started building them to order in April 2005, these should start filtering through to the dealers now, so May's figures should start to reflect the increased activity for the AWD models.

My brother will be cheesed off. He just got his GM card up to $3,000, and then was told there were no Jackaroos available until at least the end of the year.
This was about two months ago, so how come there are still sales?

If you don't have to replace or buy your car immediately and with new models on the way especially when new emmision rules will cause at least some form of update then I'd hang back as well. I think the Falcon is down more then the Commodore due to Territory obvioulsy which is having a greater private buyer mix then the Falcon and a greater number are buying the AWD Ghia as well, while in RWD models is mostly the TX (AWD: RWD is approx 45:55)

The Jackaroo ceased being built over 12 months ago (which has been mentioned before) so whats being sold now is the last few left.
By next year Holden will have replacement AWD and SUV models arriving, one is the medium Territory size S3X and possibly the RAV4 size T2X.
Holden also needs a full-size SUV to compete with Landcuiser etc. and the strong contenders for this would be either the all-new GMT900 model Chevy Tahoe being launched next year by GM America or the all-new Hummer H3 to be built in right-hand-drive in a new factory in South Africa.
So Holden have a number of options at the moment but by next year, Holden should have a full range of SUV's and AWD's to choose from.
