Hi guys,
can anyone recommend a reputable trans builder here in Melbourne based on experience?, I've just broken a t700 at the extension housing.(it's behind a 383 Gen 1 vortech s/c'd jobbie so it doesn't have the electronics, and it's not a ls1 but someone might be able to help based on experience with the LS1 /4l60E due to similarilites b/t that & the T700 R4 :-) this had the full rebuild with corvette servo's etc. etc. but it's only lasted 5 months since supercharging the ole 383 ( The VP SS diff only lasted 2 days before I went the full 9" 31 spline diff!!

I'm in Melbourne

I spose I could always use this as an excuse to go the TKO.

Options, options.......

Thanks
JT

He will give a warrwenty on a performance trans pretty sure nobody else will
I believe he has done many of the transmissions on the High Powered melb based cars

Dave did mine which is still going strong, but more importantly he did the 4l60E in Matts (G&D) monaro 450 odd rwkw which has now seen a number of trips to the quarter. He gets my vote.

Thanks guys,
WHile not as much fun as a TKO, Hopefully retaining the 4spd auto will save me a couple of Gorrila$$.
I'll let you know how it all goes.
