Quick question, is it possible to turn the service reminder off on VY S1's? If so how is this done? When i bought mine it was just serviced at 25k now the service reminders is on at 30k but it doesn't need servicing until 35k, and I don't think I can live with it for another 5k yet.
I have red the owners manual and can't seem to find it, can't see how to do it in the options mode of the dash or the tech mode(mode and set turn on key) on how to turn it off.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

It is in the service manual, and has been listed on here if you do a search on service reminder...
Too cold to go down and get my book out...
edit:
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Hold down the trip computer UP and DOWN buttons together.
3. Turn the ignition ON while still holding down both buttons.
4. After approx 3 seconds, release both buttons.
5. The service menu appears and asks if you want to reset.
6. Press and hold the SET button for more than 3 secs.
7. Press the MODE button.
8. Turn ignition OFF.

Also according to the car service logbook, all the services are actually done at the 10,20,30,40k intervals with set items that need to be looked at and certain parts get changed and you will find that they are different at each interval. Also what service did they do? was it the 20k one or the 30k one. I would think that at 25k they would have just changed the oil and not done anything else. DId they stamp your service log book??? You may actually need to have the proper 30k service done.

Rather than start a new thread. On the VY.
Recently having the service reminder @ the centre window on cluster appear every thousand K's following 80K eg appeared again @ 81K, 82K & recently again @ 83K??? Have reset as per the above each time & it extinguishes ok.
Is this a dash cluster program or is it in the PCM? Thinking it's Cluster program but would like confirmation from someone in the know?
Cheers
