159 MPH is actuall 256 KM/H when rounded up....let's not cheat him. I'd say that he hit the speed limiter or they would have caught him doing more. It's a joke that that wasn't found dangerous though.

Lol, imagine if that happened in Australia. Can you image the people like Harold Scruby and what they would have to say!!!!

Pc Milton was driving in accordance with his training, honing his skills while possible and testing the vehicle's capabilities so that if he was required on an urgent call he would be driving safely Can i use this line next time i get pulled over for speeding??

I heard about that on the radio over here (UK), and how nice to learn it was in an Aussie car! They didn't say that on the radio! Also, they didn't say that in that news article did they??

Looks like they do have their very own Scruby - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (Rospa) - Kevin Clinton.

I've heard some crap excuses before, but these have to be right up there with the best:

But the Police Federation defended the driving of Pc Milton, who is also known to have travelled at 120mph in a 60mph zone and at more than 60mph in a 30mph zone.

Speaking on the steps of the court, Insp Keith Howes, said: "Pc Milton was driving in accordance with his training, honing his skills while possible and testing the vehicle's capabilities so that if he was required on an urgent call he would be driving safely."

Yeah, right.

I'd like to see someone who's not a cop (or Premier of Victoria) get away with something like that.
