Mode & Set not resetting the variables in tri window

This happened overnight, Mode & Set is not resetting the variables in the tri window display even though a Mode and Set with Start gets me into diagnostics. Seems that the switches are o.k. Any ideas guys?

I often have trouble reseting mine, have to try quite a few times to get it to actually zero all the counters, tried pressing and releasing, tried pressing and holding, always takes a least a couple of goes. and yes I can reset the clock on my video (not that I have one anymore, but when I did, I could actually set the clock, really I could :p )

Good point Dickie, I didn't stop to think too much about "which" buttons were being pressed, it IS up and down. I even reset mine on the way to work this morning 'cause I had confused myself, defnitely up and down together.

I arrow down to "trip A" or "trip B", then reset button works.

Reset doesnt work if in a general window - suppose cos it doesnt know which one to reset.
