As some might know i was involved in an accident recently, where the back of my car was banged up. After a month at the panel beaters i got it back, but have encountered a few problems.
First thing i noticed when i got home was that after it rained that night, the boot interior was soaked. I had a look at the rubber seals, no cracks or anything. all still in place. Would this be an issue for the panel beater?
Secondly prior to the accident,, the car was extremely smooth. I could sit at 110-120 on the freeway and feel comfortable.
Now anything above 115 and the backend shudders like crazy. It consistently does it at the exact same speed every time. the best way i can explain it is like axle tramp, where the backend is bouncing and shaking its tits off.
My VH feels more at home at that speed.
Anyway, do you think i should get it inspected first, or take it back to the smash repairer and ask whats happening? What do you think the problem could be?
The car is a VY executive, fe2 suspension, LS1, if that helps.
