HDT VK SS - How much are they worth?

Hey folks,

A bloke at work has a Brock VK SS and is wondering how much it would be worth. It is a 5 ltr, M4, silver in colour, has 170 thou K on the clock, paint is in reasonable condition, electrics need a bit of a tickle but it is otherwise in great nick. The car was bought as a toy, but is now daily driven and he's looking for something a bit cheaper to run.

Any ideas?

I would say about 8-10 grand if its fairly tidy and original.

if it's got all the good bits ( ie hard to get bits) still in it in good condition, like original MOMO steering wheel, scheel seats in good condition ( trim is very hard to get for them now ) etc plus he has the original build certification from HDT and the tags and numbers all match on the vehicle, I would say somewhere between $9-12k.
