I will be going wed 1st june to have my first attempt at sub12s since new SS3600 stall and ET street radials.

Should be able to squeeze another couple of tenths out later in the season though. Have space with transmission line pressure it changing very soft now. Maybe a little in the tune with new Throttle body and exhaust.

Hoping to see some sub1.7s launches this wednesday. I am not used to using good drag tyres though - stalling to 2800rpm and stomping it is very new to me.

Adam VXLS1 is planning to go as well - with new stall and tyres as well.

Lets bring on a true winters night with low humidity and no wind. ...after a sunny day.

Might see you out there also.
I have to get the most out of Adams BF Goodrige slicks.
I might see if I can do another 0.000 reaction time :nyuk:

Hey Steve - if the weather looks good (ie low temps and low humidity and no rain or gail force winds!) then I'll probably head out for a few runs.

Cheers,

Beej

Hi Brendan
It looks good so far - probably like tonight.
I just looked at bom.gov.au

Its probably about 9 degrees there now and 70% with 1028 pressure !!

Went for a drive not long ago - this cold air makes a difference. Did a 0-60 G-tech and even with a soft start that sent it into second gear almost straight away it did 4.30s to 60mph.

Cant wait for Wednesday.

Won't be able to make it this week but I was wondering how much it costs for a few runs on a Wednesday and how busy the track is on those nights.

$45 for as many runs as you can fit in. That's usually anywhere from 3-7.

They only take 150 cars afaik, and they often get that many turning up. Even on the busiest days I've been able to get 3-4 runs in (and I usually take a little break too).

You'll need a helmet, rego papers, letter from owner if the car's not in your name, long sleeves/pants, etc.. (see WSID site).

Cheers,
- Febs.

The gates are open at 5.00pm but I think they may be open earlier tomorrow cos there will be some cars using the track from 10 to 4pm. I cant see them locking up for an hour.
I'll try & get out there for my first 12sec pass hopefully.
