Just looking at getting extractors put on, I have done heaps of reseach and all on the forums. I am just wondering if these are pretty good prices. I am going for the Try-y's as I am not looking at openning up the engine at all. I can get set of Genies try-y's installed with cats opened up to 2 1/2 for $616 or I can get a set of Paccie try-y's cats opned etc for $690. Are these pretty good prices, I have been looking on ebay at the Pacemakers which they claim are HPC coated for $560 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2482001309&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 but I am not sure if they are the real deal or not. All up the guy was going to charge $110 for fitting if I supplied my own extractors.
Am I better off just going for the Genies for $616.00 is that good enough deal, or anyone in brissie know where you can get a better price :) cheers and thanks for your help..

$110 for fitting is very cheap imo, does this include
heat shields for the steering boots?

The heat shields should come with the headers. Tez, that ebay price is pretty good considering they are HPC coated, as is your fitting price, you'd be hard pressed to do a better deal on Pacemaker and they are pretty good. I have Genies (4>1) on mine and have no problems with them but most guys prefer Pacemaker.

Wow HPC coated.....I emailed these guys in the past at around the same price and they were only the blue paint jobs back then...thats a wicked price for the HPC jobbies isnt it?

Yeah think they are pretty good price, just emailed them. So we'll see, fitting costs I thought was pretty good. I am thinking about getting those paccies from ebay for $565 inc postage to brissie and then sorting it out from there. I just keen to get them on the car before this Sats Test and Tune at Willobank hehehe. Bring on the edit, should go from 13.7 (stock) to low 13's or hopefully even 12's fingers crossed ;)

I've bought Pacemakers off that seller before. I found them quick and easy to deal with.

I purchased mine from the same mob (online performance)
and they didn't come with heatshields. Might pay to
ring them direct and check. They were a pleasure to
deal with though.

OK boys they arn't HPC coated, just got an email from them and its an error made when they did the ad. So what do you guys think, the Genies for $616 or paccies for around $690 all up inc installing. Cheers

Go the Genie's , because if you search for Sam's header test they performed better than most ( I think ). At that price good value as well ( if there is such a thing when getting extractors ).
