Active automotive - tunes

Anyone had any expearence with active automotive maffless tunes. Are they any good.

I used them for my first tune cause they are just around the corner from me , genie exhaust system and HSV cold air and a eddy mafless tune.

It only lasted a fortnight before I got sick of the stalling and pinging , spent the money and got it redone by another workshop in Maddington , car now runs great , got a extra 15kw as well as improved the economy.

lol... i was going to answer this thread last night. But it seems "vychaser" has given a good answer as to who he'd rather have tune his car.

I think it has been said over and over again, if you want a ls1 tuned you speak to either Daniel (aka Delco) @Chipmaster (W.A based) or Martin (aka Street Tune) @ Doughboy Auto-performance (S.A Based)

As mentioned at another time / in another place 13.8 was the time achieved from a cam only A4 combo from this here shop.... :eek:


Best follow the very sound advise of Mr Tre-Cool........imho
