Email reponse error

Just tried to send you guys an email to moderators (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/sendmessage.php) and got this response.

I didn't use my sign on email address as its no longer valid, is this normal?

Have changed some of the addresses to ***** as i dont like posting my, and others email addresses up

any ideas?

I believe its the spam/virus protection on their server. Ive had the same thing (there is a couple of threads about it too.

I just resent from a differant email address.

not sure about ls1, but some forums block *!*@hotmail.com accounts

that MAY be a reason another may be when u tried to send it, hotmail was playing up....

This is interesting - I had an email bounce back with a simalar error. The mail I sent and the recipent had nothing to do with Hotmail. Looks like someone may have hacked an MX server somewhere :eek:

this is early this morning VooDoo... i was looking at the forum at the same time

we are getting validation requests and the classified posts etc so the server would appear to be working OK this end......

Emails to moderators (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/sendmessage.php) forward on to the nominated email address for every moderator. It appears that it only rejected when forwarding to an individual moderators address (Deccy's). The rest of us got it.
