Mate, your best bet is to have a chat to Shannons. Unlimited mods, excellent pricing, etc.
Do a search on Shannons, there has been numerous threads with people talking about how great they have been.
Hope this helps

Insurance for HSVs seems to be very pricey, and age doesnt help wither, although there are a few guys in their 30s- late 20s who only pay 3 figure premiums! I think MikeVYIIClubby pays under 1 grand and hes about 30.
I decided to go for 200sx s15 and I got quoted $1296 full premium AAMI (just turned 25 yo)...i dont have the car yet so ive got 1 year to use up the quote.

Well Guys In Qld Insurance Seems To Be A Lot Cheaper Than In The Southern States. I'm 30 And My Wife Is 23 And We Pay Through Nrma Around $1200 (we Are Rating 1). My Brother Is 28 And Also Drives A Hsv Vy Ser 1 Clubsport And Is Through Racq (rating 1) And Pays $850.
You Could Always Move Up To Qld!!!

Gary, unfortunately the price you have sounds about with for Sydney. Not much you can do imo.

This is slightly off topic
Any of you insured with NRMA be aware of the recent policy changes.
1. Choice of repairer (even an NRMA preferred) will cost an extra $60 AND needs to be taken as an option on the policy. Used to be free and automatic.
2.From their booklet "repair your vehicle using new parts, OR parts consistent with the age and condition of your vehicle"
I look like changing insurance co. Dont like the idea of 2nd hand mechanical parts going into my car.
Spoke to a reputable smash repairer and he tells me that NRMA are now using a "cheapest tender" system to repair cars - as per AAMI.
This info may influence the choices as well as price.

yeah i got that notification from NRMA... if you sign up with a new policy they tell you over the phone now too...
given they still provide guarantees on the workmanship, i'm not all that worried... if theres a problem with the repair work you still have a recourse.

I have two issues with this - I now have to pay $60 for something that was free and doesnt seem like it would cost NRMA anything = profit grab. Have an excellent repairer almost next door who I would prefer to use rather than the cheapest price.
