I know this has been asked before and I have already beaten up the search function!
How do you remove wax from black/grey plastic?
I can't remember if it was white spirit or methylated spirit or prepsol or ???
I have used the meguiars trim cleaner or something like that before but after a few months it again fades to display the wax again.
Thank-you

prepsol should work it removes just about everything else well thats what you use before you paint to remove any waxy or oil deposits on the car

Hey motomk,
Use Mothers "Back to Black"..... Great stuff, i swear by it.
Also good before you wax & polish, you apply to all the black stuff and it does not allow the polish to attach.

Meguiars recommend #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner and a toothbrush, but I'm not sure if it is available here in Oz.
