Unsure if I can explain this noise correctly but I'll have a go. I hear a tick noise coming from the rear when I release the clutch at low speed. I originally noticed it when I was reversing into my car port, but I'm now hearing it when taking off from the lights or turning a corner, pretty much when ever I change gear at low speed. I took it back to the dealer and they pretty much told me they couldn't hear it so it's not a problem, I tend to disagree... I've never heard this noise from any other LS1.
Cheers

I had a similar noise with my VZ Monaro when it was new.It too only made the noise when pulling away from the lights or when manoeuvring in a car park though I didn't notice it in reverse It was fixed at the first service according to the dealer it was a misaligned exhaust and was catching on the Right Hand Bank exhaust pipe where it passes over the rear axle .
It has been fine since.

I have a similar prob with my A4 VZSS when down shifting from day one.
It doesn't happen usually.
I think it doesn't get louder,so I am not worried :)
