:D Hey it's me again, ok I have down some research, reading information, etc and decided to supercharge my car instead of wasting loads of dosh on kw gain that most likely wont even reach the supercharge kw gain.
I am interested in getting the Vortech V-2 Quiet, Water Injection Included, Stage 3, 10-14 Boost, 310-340 ex (Kw) Blower for $8000, also since I will be driving around a fair bit I am also interested in getting the Vortech/CAPA Complete Air-to-Water System for $1900 to keep the car nice and cool and not hot...
But before getting all of this done I am wanting my engine to be rebuilt with quality gear to suit the supercharge I am wishing to get. As I would hate to get this supercharge and it kills my motor  .
So I am wondering if Sam could do this for me and how much it would cost me to get the engine rebuilt with quality gear ;) .
Also I am wondering if he could install the Vortech Blower for me when I finally buy it. (Gotta save my thousand's up, one thousand a week should not take me to long).
I would get the engine rebuilt with quality gear and around 11 weeks after that I will buy the Supercharge and get it installed.

Can Sam? Yes Sam can.
Although if you are getting to the stage of getting the work done, I'd suggest going and having a talk to him about your requirements, and resultant budget.

 Sweet. I will go down and have a chat with him when it is closer to get the work done and I have most of the cash :D .
Thanks.

That is the best way. When you talk to Sam be honest in what you want. Whether it is a fire breathing race car or a really strong street car. This is probably the biggest mistake people make when they get an engine built.

 Hmmm. That is true. Well I have a three months or so to think, while I save up around 14g :D .
I know I want alot of rwkw, I want my baby to take off from the lights like a rocket :burnout:, I want torque alot of it, I want power heaps of it, I want to slam my foot onto the throttle and it whips out taking off like the rocket :D . A really strong street car as you said, but a farking strong fast V8 :demon: .
Im hell keen in that supercharger, been told I will get alot of torque and power from it, told I will atleast have 250rwkw (..... But I have to build my engine to support that amount of boost)
I also want a new camshaft and lifters (lifters are ticking most likely damage but I have to try the Nulon Lifter Free product to quieten the ticking, but would rather newer/stronger ones.) to suit the supercharger.

Never a truer word said Justice. This is where so many young blokes go wrong - they rock into their engine builder and tell them what they want, except they forget to take their hands out of their pockets while they are doing it...;) They usually get carried away with how they are going to do lots of track work etc and as a result, when they get a car that's suitable for that, it is a pig on the road. Like when I was a young bloke a mate of mine got carried away like this and had a "full-race" cam ground and had the head shaved by 1/8th" and put it all back into an otherwise stock engine...As he even later admitted "It only revs to 6000 max...but the cam doesn't comes in until 7000..!!)..
Most good engine builders understand this and try to get to the bottom of the BS first, although in all fairness, they do get inundated with it and that's why some are a little blunt. They can spend days talking to "gunna's"..

I am not going to b/s to Sam, I am going to tell him exatcly what I want, a good strong/fast street car that has alot of torque and power (Vortech Blower). I want a strong quality gear engine that will able to handle the supercharge with ease, able to handle the 12-14 boost.
And since my lifters are making the tapping noise, I need to get new ones so I was thinking of getting a good/better cam and lifters with good torque and power to suit the blower....

Talk to the man. Sam will give you a great engine...provided you don't talk shite to him. He hasn't got time for that stuff... (In case you hadn't noticed by now, I also don't tolerate fools easily...It comes with age...;) )
