Hi all, my VT 5Litre has done 120k and I think its time to freshen it up. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should be asking for to maximise this process and the cost involved?
Thanks in advance.
Dave. ;)

Someone must be able to help?
Why do you think that your motor needs a freshen up?
Does it use lots of oil, have poor compresion?
If not I wouldn't bother, if serviced properly it should see over 200k's before needing any internal work?

Mine has 160RWKW and 220,000km on the clock and the oil is still perfectly clean after 5000 km since change  120,000km and 212KWKW on a 304.... its still a baby :) And a bloody healthy one at that!

What mods does it have to get 212rwkw? I know a few 215kw Strokers that still took a lot of work to get to 200rwkw. A stock 185 5L generally pushes around 135rwkw so i'd love to hear what you have done to yours to gain so much power. Blown/Stroked/NOS ???
If it was mine i'd not touch it as its making WAY more power than stock.

355 stroker, Crane 286 cam, heads worked, 10.5:1 comp. C.O.M.E racing twin throttle boby. I had 197rwkw till I installed the throttle body.
