Saw this myself in Brisbane catalogue yesterday - and was going to post about it today but see that it has already got a post - looks like a decent deal :)

If its a blue pack its probably the same brand as I got earlier this year. I paid $69 for jack, chocks and axle stands however the jack has since bent. I have to get round to taking it back sometime.

Same brand Jay, what were you lifting to bend the jack.
If it was your SV8, mine is going back tomorrow and
mods can delete this thread.

Yep, have only used it to lift the SV8 from the diff and a VY clubbie by the side and haven't left it suspended for longer than it takes to change a tyre. I thought it was a good buy at the time but after using it maybe 12 times I'm starting to wonder about its integrity.
I think glenfords had a 2T or 3T trolley jack recently for $169 which looked a bit better.

Sadly, I guess I will be taking it back tomorrow.

Ive got a great big (500mm lift) 2.5 tonne jack and its the best thing ive bought for the garage. Ive bent and smashed up plenty of the supercheap style little ones  $199 I paid and its worth every penny

Just to give you an idea of what I mean by twisted, see how the arm is over to the LHS in the chassis in the first pic? And then you can see the twist with the wheel off the ground when on a flat bench.

One of the advantages of being unattached, your house, your rules :) But there are a few disadvantages too...

Does anyone else have any feedback on this particular
brand? They are supposed to have Australian and NZ
approval (whatever that means). How long ago did
you purchase yours Jay, and why didn't you take it
straight back, being a safety issue and all?

I saw the first entry in this thread, and went down to the local Kmart to buy the pack.
There was one left, but something told me to wait and see if there had been any responses. Glad I didn't buy now.
Off topic, but bought a BBQ instead. Six burner Jackeroo Professional SS, usually $749, but marked down to $260 because it was missing the top cover.
Bought one of the same things about four months ago for $80.01, because it was missing the cabinet and a couple of other things.
Happy with $340 the lot, with pleanty of spares.
Now someone will probably tell me there is something wrong with them now.

I got a Jackaroo and it works great. For the money they are probably one of the best bang for your buck BBQ's! Had it for 2 years now no problems. Going to get an outdoor heater for around 150 this weekend also a Jackaroo.

Hi,
Interested in your comment!
If you read it all as well, you would have seen that I was talking about a different bargain, that I happened to chance upon when I went to Kmart because of this thread.
I did not buy the car equipment, as I decided at the last minute to wait for more feedback on this site.
My apologies for my part in your unnecessary high blood pressure.
Cheers.
