As above, does anyone know of an aftermarket vy style binnacle for vx to house a couple of gauges?

That might be hard to find mate. The reason the VY binnacle is a popular part is because of the direct fit into the top of the VY centre console. But since the VX has the VT style curvy dash, it is harder to mount. I'm sure you could make one yourself out of fibreglass or silimar. Alternatively, maybe try to modify a VY one? Good luck!

The only real options available for the VT/VX that i know of are the usual a pillar mounted gauges and there is a pod that u can get/make that goes down where the cigarette lighter is. Once i work out how so post pics ill put one up.

lautray - as you know I'll be in the same position when I get one of those Interceptor units. The only places I can think of are:

- Under the stereo, using a moulded piece like Bob G's pic shows.
- A-pillar (bit dodgy)
- In the dash fascia, under the trip computer buttons. Not sure how much depth there is to play with, but seedyrom fitted a Statesman clock there no problems.

Cheers,
- Febs.

a few guys with super6's have actually installed boost gauges in the dash under the trip computer buttons and apparently fits pretty good.

Yeeeepp, this was the one I was thinking of too. I like this setup.
I might do this as my sunglass holder lid catch is stuffed. Thinking of ripping the entire thing out and store it, then pop a few useful gauges in the hole.

Not sure if I will get hold of the mold or build my own panel with polished Aluminium or something flash that looks the part :)
