Had redline oil in the m6 in my VSII GTS. Was in there for about 30,000km before I traded it. It seemed to make it a bit easier and smoother changing gears.
IMO it was worth the dollars spent.

I'm using redline oil in my 02 Vu ss ute & having no problems at all. I swapped from castrol magnatec over 20,000 kms ago & the engine runs alot smoother. It seems weird though because the oil is so runny (thin) that it won't do it's job. Cruising at high speeds (well on our roads 110 km max) the engine just runs beautifully & even better at higher speeds.
My genIII is still stock, shit oh well.
Keep it in for 30,000 kms as this is what redline tell you to do as it's strong enough & clean enough to go to 30,000 & then change.
I want to put redline into the auto, but i keep being told, just put new redline oil into the diff as this will be better.

Hi,
I run Redline in my 02 Monaro's engine (276 RWKW), M6 and diff, all happy.
I have even tried the water wetter in the coolant. Hopefully the Monaro is as happy as me!
Cheers.

Smoken2,
I have the water wetter in my coolant aswell & it doesnt make any difference in temp. I was thinking about going just the water wetter & distilled water.
My utes done just over 54,000 kms, its pretty slow i know, i got it in july that year brand new, but the price of fuel caught me aswell as many other people. Not entirely sure when the coolant needs changing by holden warranty shit, so i dont really want to drop the water wetter even know redline state it's best to drop every year.

I am also currently running Redline Oil in my eng. m6 & diff....:burnout:
Haven't noticed any difference in the engine , the M6 seems to shift a little easier & the jury is still out on the diff oil ( it was bloody noisey until we put in some friction modifier!) o now tho :D
