R31 skyline with a VQ30DET converted to twin turbo. Or is it a VJ30DET (got that in my mind but dont know why). Didnt think nissan makes/made a V8 so I'm going the V6.

There is also a LS1 R31 being done.

The 308 R31 did a 12.5sec pass

Hang on stand corrected there is a new 5.6L V8 nissan is using in there Titan pick ups over in the US but if thats a v8 it looks to be too old skool to be a Nissan V8.... that I know off.

Didnt think it was a "nissan" V8, but geez how much work would have been involved to set that thing up I take it the driveline would have had to of been replaced as well. Oh for anyone interested the 5.6L I was talking about is designated VK56DE. Would be interesting to see if that motor makes it here.

-5,552 cc 5.6 liters V 8 front engine with 98 mm bore, 92 mm stroke, 9.8 compression ratio, double overhead cam and four valves per cylinder VK56DE
-Unleaded fuel 87
-Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 19 and EPA city (mpg): 13
-Multi-point injection fuel system
-28 gallon main unleaded fuel tank
-Power: 227 kW , 305 HP SAE @ 4,900 rpm; 385 ft lb , 522 Nm @ 3,600 rpm

Not that it matters, but Nissan have had a V8 for some time - the VH45DE 4.5L V8...
