Had some Pacemaker tri y’s fitted yesterday and pleased with the results.
A lot cleaner response down low, especially between the 2 - 3,000 rev range.
Without a doubt, it gets to the rev limiter quicker. Can’t give too much away with performance, doing that would be braking the law :lol: but I am pretty sure it has made a considerable difference.
Already had a Redback cat back system installed without a rear reso, sounded ok (better than stock anyway) but with the pacies fitted, the exhaust note is great, much deeper and throaty throughout the rev range, no drone at all. This was confirmed by a bloke who lives a few houses down with a new XR8 that has obviously had headers and zorst fitted and sounds pretty damn good (For a Ford) Every time we drive past each other he has a little grin on his dial because he knows how good his sounds. Yesterday I spotted him in his driveway, so threw the SS down a cog and WOT toward him. This time he grins and a thumbs up…… :lol: . My turn to try and intimidate!! :booty:
Anyhoo, I would recommend to anyone who has been thinking about it to “just do it” money well spent I believe.
