I'm interested in getting one of your 6 speed short shift kits. Just a quick question do you have a supplier/dealer in the Brisbane area, or is it a matter of having them shipped up directly through you.

Agreed. and I know the ripshift has had a lot of good reports but the Harrop unit also has had good feedback from those that have it. I don't want to get into which is the better, the ripshifter may well be better, but at less than half the cost the Harrop shifter suits my needs and wants nicely

You can buy it direct & we can courier/post it to you, or you can possibly buy one from The Brock Shop, Powertorque, or Romano (all three have purchased, but I don't know if they stock extras).

Easiest to probably ring Damian on 03.9474-0900 or damian@harrop.com.au.

The RipShifter is a great product, and does what it is designed to do. It is a race-level quick-shifter, which should not be confused with the Harrop short-shifter... They have two different purposes and markets. ;)

I am imagine that there are some drivers who are chasing the last 0.05 of a second at the drags who would enjoy and get benefit from the speed of the RipShift ... but that is not what the short-shift is designed for. We have had several customers who have changed from ours to RipShift for speed, then changed back again for the ease of daily driving (Peter Brock for example).

Thanks for the note ... but we don't mind. ;)

The nice things about forums is that people get to express their opinions, and we will refrain from censoring posts on "our" forum as long as they do not mis-inform or trash our products or customers, and as long the posts are relevant to what we are all passionate about .... Gen3 Chevs.

Cheers ...
