Two quick questions.
1. Filled up last night (SV8) and the stoopid pump didn't shut off, so fuel sprayed out. After cleaning it off the car (and my shoes and pants!), I noticed a strong smell of fuel in the boot. Could I have a faulty fuel overflow pipe of something? Maybe just fuel hanging around under the bumper sides or something (I quickly washed it of at a car wash). There is also a smell in the car, maybe from the boot .. maybe from my shoes?
2. My "new" LS1 has about 3K on it and appears to be freeing up a bit. Measureably better fuel economy, throttle response, but it still smells oily after giving it a bit of a poke. PCV problems?? I can't really tell how much oil it is using, 'cos the last time Holden filled it, they basically overfilled it past both the little bumps on the dipstick ..
