With regard to your Monster and Extreme brake packages:-
i) Do they both have the relevant ADR compliance?
ii) Are they suitable for street use, ie have dust seal etc?
iii) Are the pads supplied nice and quiet or are they race orientated squealers?
iv) What is the difference in performance between them?
cheers

Hi Dyno-Junkie ...
i) All our road-car brakes are to an ADR certifiable level. This question opens up a whole box of worms (cans are too small). There are some brake manufacturers/suppliers than claim that their brakes are ADR certified, which is correct in a small way... but not as you may interperate it. All aftermarket brakes can only be ADR certified for a particlar model vehicle including any modifications to that exact vehicle. If we ADR certify the brakes on my 2002 Monaro, it does not mean they are ADR certified on any other 2002 Monaro unless it has EXACTLY the same specification.
Again ... all our road-car brakes are to an ADR certifiable level. :)
ii) Yep ... good & legal for street use. You may wish to advise your insurance company and increase the value to cover them. ;)
iii) The pads we supply are typically Bendix Ultimate material, which are a nice "middle of the road" pad for blending performance and durability. They do tend to be a "high dust" pad ... need to clean the rims often.
iiii) Difference in performance ... difficult to answer/quantify at this time as we have not done back-to-back brake dyno tests. Sorry. :( Perhaps I should answer with "Best" & "Better than Best" ... :D
Give Damian a call on 03.9474-0900 or damian@harrop.com.au & he may be able to better answer your performance question by giving you some customer feed-back.
Cheers ...

Ken, You missed one; iii) are the brakes quiet or do they squeal a lot ???

Opps ...
None of the sets fitted to date have squealled more than the OE units. We did a small pre-production batch for validation and one vehicle (ute) has done ~15,000kms.
:)
