Hay guys, just thought you'd be interested, we have spent a lot of time programming and R&D on this car. You may have seen it at Heathcote or Calder, its very first run was a 12.09 at Heathcote. Its best run at Calder being 11.57. We were hoping for low 11's but now, after a lot of hard work, we have improved its power output and still only running the standard 76mm fly-by-wire throttle body.

We have now achieved 339rwkw with a lot of problems trying to get traction on the dyno. We have video footage of this car on the dyno thats pretty impressive. I'll try and post the footage ASAP. It's awesome to see.

I'll also post up some more details on this package tomorrow, but for now here is the dyno sheet.

We have put together several different packages. For pricing you can call us. Obviously we have different packages to suit manual or auto and individual requirements.
This car is still driven on the road every day, but it's to suit the more serious street person, still caming at 1800rpm. Most of this engine is our own stock that we bring in direct from the States. The heads flow 620hp at 600 valve lift, with 2.08 stainless inlet valves and 1.60 stainless exhaust valves, titanium springs and retainers to suit 650 valve lift. Fly cut pistons were required in this engine due to the intake valve size and using our AP242 cam. We are fitting one of these cams to a VY Clubsport using standard valve size to reduced the package cost of having to fit fly cut pistons. It will be interesting to see what numbers we achieve out of this one.

Ah the imfamous 242 cam strikes again :D . What would the engine longivity be like with a stock bottom end being spun to 7,000 rpm?

Cheers

We are having a great time working back tonight, we have just finished fitting a 100hp NOS kit to the VZ and its F**king awesome. Its late but we are going to put it on the dyno and see what it can do.

Cheers Mick.

We still have 150hp jets that we could fit...

How are you guys
Here are two links. One is the dyno footage of our VZ. It always looks more impressive first hand.
The second link is for those who dont have Real PLayer to watch the footage, you can download it for free.

Hey APS Frankston that dyno run is awsome, why didn't you do a run on the bottle so you really smoke those rear tyres. That is reving a little giveing that its a 6000ks old ute. (No mercy mick...)
