Can anyone advise of the different offsets used for 15x6-inch Commodore steel wheels? Dredging up info from various sources, it seems that VL and VN-VS live axle; Utes; VPs with IRS; VR-VS IRS and VT-VX all have different specification steel wheels with different offsets and wheel centre hole sizes. Police (6 and 7-inch) rims differ slightly too, with extra welding!
Does anyone know for sure? I am looking for a suitable wheel for fitting to another make of car... any help (specs/charts/tables) appreciated...

Wheel offset for VT- VY type interceptor rim in both 15x6 and 15x7 is 38. (to the best of my knowledge.)

Can't help with the exact differences but, I can confirm that they do exist. When I bought my first car secondhand (VP S) the spare wheel in the boot had a different offset to the rest of them.
That's all I know.
