im trying to decide, what is best - the coup4 or the current GTO
would would you get?
The coup4 looks fantastic but its an auto why dont they install the LS2 into it. OR THE gto for the LS2. But i like the looks of the coupe4 i just dont know? please help. What would hold more of its value you think?

First off, Coupe has an "e" on the end. :D Second, depends what your after. The Coupe 4 is heavier and slower (but you can do something about that) and is auto only. Also it's LS1 while the GTO is LS2. On the other hand there are thousands of GTO's and only 100 Coupe 4's, plus the Coupe 4 looks better, plus it has shit loads of grip. If you MUST have a manual LS2 then your decision has already been made for you.
I went with the Coupe 4 because it is very rare, I think it looks better and I prefer AWD. I have no interest in getting the car sideways, it may be fun but it's asking for trouble and it's slower. Motor had the two cars around Eastern Creek and the Coupe 4 was over a second quicker per lap !! In the end you won't be disappointed either way, they are both very special and awesome cars.

Are HSV still making Coupe 4s or have they all been delivered?

I would go the Coupe4 cause I think it looks better too. especially with the ochre trim.

gto gto gto gto gto gto :D
I went for a ride in a black LS2 GTO auto a few months back, and after that trip, I JUST WANT ONE!!! If I were you, i'd sign the papers for a GTO without a second thought (although I'd go for the 6-speed). Just my thoughts on the subject though.

Haven't owned a coupe 4 ... but have owned a VZ Monaro and now a VZ GTO ... I'd save the extra $ and get the Monaro over all 3 ... just my own opinion.

Two totally different cars, the choice of which is simply a matter of personal taste. If you want outright grunt, then obviously you would choose the GTO with its LS2 engine. However, if you are after something a little bit more sophisticated, & certainly more collectable, then you'd choose the Coupe 4. Cheers, Pickles.

what a tough choice ... I would personally go the GTO simply because of its 6spd .... but as Pickles said the Coupe 4 will be a unique piece of motoring history for a while - either way you are going to get a great car :)

COUPE 4 WITH NO HESITATION.
I just think it is the best thing HSV have released. period.
Fantastic looks, great handling.. and really you cannot complain about the power.. and it is so easy to extract a few more ponies.. exhaust aside.
Both Icons no doubt.. but the Coupe 4 just exudes class & exclusivity..
IMO.
Either way.. simply having the choice is something many of us may never experience. :)
