Well guys is been great to know you all especially such characters as MNR-O, RIDE-42, IWANTAHSV, Tonner, Oz Jav and I cant leave out Voodoo. Thanks to all the others that have helped me and had the odd debate with.
I have some sad news. The One Tonner is going to the big car yard in the sky, that’s right up for sale.
This is not a discission I have come to easily but one made from a pure practical and business point of view. Some may remember my posts on One Tonner Ute and the lack of durability.
When it comes to a true work Ute the Holden One Tonner in my opinion is total crap, but I have been there said that. Time to buy a real work Ute such as a Nissan or a Toyota.
Through this forum I have met some of the most straightforward and upstanding blokes any one could want to meet in the car performance game. Sonny (SV300 LS6) and Peter (Plan B) would have to be the two most decent people I have ever had the privilege to deal with. Thanks guys, you know what I am talking about.
I am going to convert the car back to standard form and sell off my Bolt ons via Ebay.
This is due to the car is not worth any more to the dealers modified or not.
If anyone wants a list of the bolt ons send me a PM.
I may still pop in from time to time but know this I will be watching.
Good luck guys and thanks for the laughs.

I agree entirely.
Fair point about the one-tonner though. If you are going to rough places and carry a lot of stuff the one-tonne probably isn't the best for you. Horses-for-courses. No one has ever built an "all-purpose" vehicle.
A lot of my wife's horsey friends have bought Navaras .. and I've been pretty impressed with their towing capacity, acceleration and highway handling. They still ride like a truck and I wouldn't ever buy one :) but they sound like a good place to start looking at a replacement?

ah well what do you do..
And just cause you dont drive it anymore dosnt mean you gotta piss off from here you are welcome anytime no matter what you drive.
Oh and as VooDoo said buy a barge heaps of boot space enough room to have a 6 chick orgy in the back seat wit all the room we have.
P.M what you have of the car that you want to get rid of
Take it easy

Due to over whelming response to my bolt ons here is the list.
HM Tri Ys, offer of $400 has been made.
HSV high flow cats X 2 with 2.5inch pipes $500 offer made
Full stainless single HM cats back system. Fitted with single VZ Monaro stainless tip, to suite One Tonner or Crewman.
PK1 PBR brake up grade with slotted front 330mm discs and slotted rear discs, big callipers and braided lines.
VZ MAF and pipe.
Twin 2.5 cats back system to suit a one tonner in mild steel, Cost me $800 sell now for $200.
GTS MAF pipe not fitted.
Strut brace (Holden)
SS front bar painted quick sliver with fog lights and switch.
SS interior, steering wheel, gear knob, hand brake these are black leather with white stitching and brushed alloy look.
SS 17s wheels with tyres that are only just road worthy. Wheels have some scratches.
If you were to by all this gear it would cost more than 10k.
Now I am considering putting all this stuff on E bay soon but I thought I would give you guys the first bite at the cherry.
All realistic offers considered, but I am not going to give this stuff away.
Having said that no reserves will be set of Ebay either.
All bolt ons are still on the car so if you want to view the Zorst or brakes in Melb.
Sorry to hear your loosing the One Tonner mate. Make sure you hang around, there is always some form of Shenanagins happening around here, and we will try not abuse you to much for trading sides... :stick:
As long as your not replacing it with a blue oval im sure we can forgive ya
Good luck selling it mate!!

Sorry Ryzz I left you out of my thank you list man you crack me up.
Thanks guys, as I said I will be watching and may pop in from time to time.
As for the blue oval, that will never ever will happen.
The new Toyota Hilux extra cab is the front-runner so far. Have to do something with the wheels though. Eeeeek. They look seriously under wheeled.
Just as a side note in regard to my bolt ons. The items on the list are still on the car and will be removed on the weekend.
People are PM me and asking what I want for the gear. As I said make a realistic offer and its yours.
I do know what this stuff is worth but I am also being realistic.
I think the best bet is to wait until it goes on Ebay so its fair to everyone. So please don’t send any more PMs asking what I want for the gear as I will not respond.
The gear should be on Ebay Sunday or Monday.
So happy bidding.

One Tonner, as they say "Business is Business". All you can believe and hope for now is that your business because that more succesfull that you'll keep whatever ute you end up with for work and have sufficient funds to get a real LS1 on the side.
Stick around though, there's always fun to be had.
Cheers,
Steve

Just letting you all know the new rodeo is a heap of shit. Ive had my latest one for three months and i strongly recommend any one from buying one. ON the other hand my last rodeo was aripper i flogged it for 4 years and never had one problem with it .

Actually, that surprises me. Frankly if I didn't own one it would only be the other. Best - Holden Ute, second - Ford Ute, third - nuthin.
Have you considered the RTV? More robust than a Holden Ute, but still drives OK and not a crude, poor handling pig like some of the alternatives.
