If your'e not cocerned about "brand names" I can reccomend

FX Racing Australia
55 Grantham st
Brunswick
Vic 3055

Ph: 03 9338 9000
fxracing.com.au

I just bought my kids a couple of thier 70cc mini manta quads - and they're great (especially for $1500)
They have a pee wee 50 (copy??) equivelant PY50 which brand new is about $1000.
They are also much better quality than other non - name brand mini's.

I was looking at the PY50's and they are really good value for the money.

Go ebay - deals of the century in there.

Also, there are heaps of Yamaha 50's without the Yamaha badge for under half the cost (brand new)

how young?

suzuki are a bit cheaper and quicker than the yamaha. Esp when you get to the 80cc size, pw80 3 speed auto, suzuki 5 speed manual box. they don't take long to learn the clutch an hour or less. never had problem with the suzuki.

i had a yamaha and the other boy but i think the suzuki are better in the small bikes

Thanks for all the info and advice, i picked one up this morning for $500 then went to the yamaha dealer and ordered some new plastics and a sticker kit and painted the front shocks with some wr 450 frame paint i had left over. so for $850 total he should be a very happy boy when he turns 4 and hopefully stop pestering me to take him for a ride.

Hey All

Very good bikes the Pee Wee 50's. I got one when i was 4, and we only sold it last year. (think we made money on it too  ). It put up with two very destructive boys, and their mates, so if my experience is anything to go by, it will be a very good bike. Have Fun!!!!! :D

Cheers

go the real peewee50's

my boss brought one of the cheap chinabike ones for his boys about 6 months ago and it is absolute crap.

in the past 6 months he has spent over 1000 keeping it running. everything breaks on it, it runs like crap when it is running, utter shit.

he regrets buying the bloody thing. wish he had of spent the extra and just brought a real one to begin with
