Hi everybody
I am worried about the survival of the website as I find myself reading more and more posts like the following
Try wheel king
Try jhp
Try holparts
We have a very good representation of Mechanical and Parts sponsors that do look after us on service and price. They pay good money to be here, so lets support them. If they can not help then go to the JHP type places.
What I am trying to say is Try our Sponsors first. :soap: Because if it wasn't for them you would not be posting here.

Well said Dickie Knee.
Where possible we would ask that forum members seek out sponsors to buy their gear from!! It helps when you can read so many positive reviews about a speed shop before you take your custom to them.
We don't have any problem with people passing on their positive experiences with any shop......providing that it is a genuine post and not an infomercial........ :deal:
That's why the site has moderators - to sort the wheat from the chaff. ;)
All our sponsors contribute to the longevity of the site.....and they are valued.
The fact that companies are requesting sponsorship information and coming on board so regualrly of late is a testament to the value for money that this site offers them, that is directly attributed to the loyal members here who do just as you've asked......
support the sponsors!!!!  :yup:

Hear hear!
And also, you will find very quickly that if they are not delivering the goods, you will very quickly read it on here...:)
Sponsors are the life line of this forum. Many forum sponsors have achieved outstanding results and strive hard to make further achievements. Forum sponsors come with many satisfied customers attesting as to the quality of their workmanship. Why risk going outside the sponsor network to risk dissatisfaction and heart ache. To me the decision is simple. Support your sponsors....!!!

Just cos theyre sponsers dosnt mean they are the be all and end all of the LS1 scene.
If they are the best/cheapest/provide the best service etc people will use and reccomend them.
If they dont - even if theyre sponsers no-one is going to use them.
This forum is great and the sponsers are great - but - they cant do everything.

That is correct all I am saying is try them first before the JHPs and Holparts types.
You may not buy from them in the end but they deserve first bite of our business.
I am just starting to see to many Wheelking JHP & Holparts posts.

I understand were you are coming from but!!!!!
When you ALL go buy something do you just ring up the first number (in this case a sponser) and get it from them or do you look around for a better deal or cheaper price.
So are you telling me that jupps is the only place that we should get our cars from because they are a sponser ?????
As the good old saying goes "there are plenty of fish in the sea"
I do use some of the sponsers on here when i can,
After all if i hadnt ever got onto this dam site i would have a stock as a rock stato and a lot more $$$ in the bank

NO, he is saying at least try them out. I know for a fact some sponsors are cheaper than JHP and Holmart for some parts but many ppl wouldnt know due to the "ring JHP" type posts as they never bother to give someone you supports this site a go.

Voodoo you got it in one.
I just think it is becoming a competition as to who can post "Try XYZ " first.
I'm not saying you have to buy from the sponsors if they are more expensive.
All I am saying is call them first.
The sponsors need the feed back from us as much as we need a good deal.
If a sponsor get a lot of calls from people looking here the add is working. Getting the sale on service/parts is up to them, but they at least got the call so they know their money is well spent.

I think I have posted those in the past when none of the relevant items were available from a sponsor at the time, Now we have NVU and American Autos. It is ok to put non-sponsors up, however if you are found to be a representative of that place then that would be a no-no.
