0272 ? When did you get it, mine is 0755 @ 5 weeks old. How do they work out the build numbers :confused:

I believe that the build numbers are issued randomly, so no correlation with build date of vehicle...

im so tempted to get the one of these except r8, local dealer has them for 62+orc. are there better deals in sydney going for manual r8's?

Don't wait too long ... I did the stroker at 2000kms :lol:

Car looks awesome, nothing looks as good as black ... then a day later it needs cleaning again :bash:

The tonner has full exhaust and edit, I think it would have around the same rwkws at the end of the rev range as the LS2 but no where near the bottom end grunt. As soon as it has a few more kms on it it will receive the same treatment as the tonner & hopefully end up with 280-300rwkws :cool:

Managed to get a (in December 2005), a manual R8 for $61.7 drive away - but I haggled between a dealer in Brissy to get it that low.

Suggest you try Eagers in Brisbane - they were going to register it in NSW as well for mid $59k ! No colour choice though.

If there are still 2005 plated ones around, you should be able to do better.
