I've just had my ss sedan lowered with king spring ultralows all round. I went for a wheel alignment and have been told that I need a camber kit. The wheels are sitting 2 degrees off at the rear. Should I pay the $300 for the kit or have my alignment done elsewhere? I was under the impression that the VYs did not require the kit.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got the same advice when asking about fitting King Superlows to a VY2. I was told that the camber kit was required so they could bring the camber and toe back to a factory setting so it wouldnt chew the insides of the rear tyres out.

I have a stock VY that eats out the inside of the rears even after 4 wheel alignment. Most places including the holden dealer at Tullamarine tell me a camber kit can improve the situation a bit.
The other suggestion for my situation from TTF in Strathpine was to have both rears switched on the rims and put on opposite sides so both sides of the tyres have a chance to wear. (the second guy there said just to burn em up, plenty more where they came from  )

I have had Kings fitted to mine and have not had a problem - no camber kit needed. Just get a good wheel alignment.

I have had King Superlows fitted to my VY2 R8 abt jus over 3 months ago and done over 3500kms.. no tyre wear probs. I was told similar things by different people in the end I went with a reputable suspension shops advice after they said to leave it cos VY onwards dont need the kit. I spoke to a few other owners of VY series clubsports etc before lowering mine and most hadnt done a camber kit... different advice does confuse you though!

My lovell superlows seem to give good even tyre wear the wheel alignment fella said the rear suspention is at its max adjustment so ultralow's being even lower than superlows probably do need the camber kit.
