Stuck Door Locks

Has anyone out there had the same problems as me with the door locks being stuck down.
I own a VY SV8 2003 model and have had problems from day one. I have taken it back to the dealer maybe 15 times and had the back passenger door actuator replaced acouple of times and now it is stuffing up again. it also occassionally gets stuck up and i have to manually push it down.
let me know if im the only poor sucker with this problem or there are others out there. :bash: :mad:

its a known problem with the door actuators on VR/VS
...happens a lot (and new ones die in 6 months)
but can't say I know it to be a problem on VY

Mate your not alone. I have had the actuator replaced once already on my VY and had the car in for a service today and Holden have ordered another one as it has been playing up again for the last month or so. The service guy said that they have replaced heaps of them on VY's. With mine the front passenger door lock will only rise half way, not enough to unlock the door. It gets annoying after a while especially when the other half can't get in.

Mate ur lucky you still got in ur car,i hadnt driven my sv300 for 3 months and the battery had gone dead flat ! and last time i locked it i put the dead lock on ! you think i could get into my car ? it took like 3 hours just to get the bonnet open and power the car with a new battery to get the doors unlocked ! :mad:

Problems with mine too on VY. Dealer also mentioned that it was a common problem. After a bit of rain they said they had up to 7 per day at one point!

I've had both front doors done. Yesterday the rear drivers side threw the towel in. :(

My rear drivers side shit itself the other day, will get dealer to fix it when I get the 30,000k service next week........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :mad:

i find that spraying good old WD40 down on the knobs works a treat. It fixed the drivers side for me :)

My VX SS has the same problem in th rear behind the front passenger side. Only noticed it a week ago and guess what, my warranty ran out 6 months ago!!!!
