Finally fellas we have LS2 tuning software (HP Tuners) . We did have some problems in deciding which program to go with, but after meeting with Mario from HP Tuners and speaking with Greg over the phone, this is the program we have decided to use.
We have several cars with different bolt on combinations ready for testing and the first one (starting on it today), is strapped on the dyno.
Over the weekend I will be getting familiar with the program, and early next week, we should have some results.
Its been overwhelming tuning the LS1's and getting the results we have so far, so you can imagine how excited we are to have this in our hands.
Being one of the owners of this business, it's a big advantage to deal directly with the customer and likewise for the customer to be able to sit down with me and tell me exactly what he wants. When you leave your pride and joy, you will know that you will have no confusion as to who is tuning it because you are dealing direct with the tuner (and business owner).
With 6 qualified mechanics in the workshop capable of doing all the under car mods, I can concentrate fully on the tuning side of the job.
Keep a close eye on this thread because we will be posting results as soon as they become available

Hey guys,
I spent the morning with Mario at Autotechniques going though the LS2 program. I drove down a bog stock VZ Clubsport and after only 2 hours we acheived 255rwkw, mind you this car is running the standard exhaust, air box and air filter. We didnt even de-screen the air flow meter.
I've just driven it back, ran it up on our dyno, and how is this for two similar dyno readings..... 256rwkw.
Tomorrow morning we will fit a full exhaust system, Di Filippo 4 into 1 extractors, high flow cats and 3" twin system. Then I will complete the tune and post up the final figures.

Mick
I want to thank Mario for all his assistance in allowing us to be a beta tester.

Nice work APS,

It'll very interesting to see how the additional mods go.

Nice numbers Boys,
I'm keen to here what readings you get after the exhaust is fitted.
Is 3" over kill and what is the air inlet you are using?
Keep up the good work... :D

We have fitted the exhaust and carried out our air box mod and rolled the car back on the dyno. I spent 30mins tweeking the tune and this thing has responed well, 271rwkw with out even trying.
We have the car for a few more days next week so Monday I will give it all of my attention and push the boundaries.
By reading some of the other threads I may go mafless, but with no dual spark system in place yet there would have to be a significant improvement to leave the maf off.

Cheers Mick

I have spent 3 days trying different tuning combinations, air intake mods etc and with the maff still in place we have achieved 295rwkw on this VZ Cluby.
In spending all this time on this car, we have found they adapt well to full exhausts and tuning.

The customer took the car away and within an hour came back to let us know how great it drives, and you can always tell when you've done a good job by the expression on their face.

We have tuned an M6 with no exhaust and picked up a lazy 23rwkw, and we are currently tuning an auto maloo ute with full exhaust

Just wanted to let everyone know that APS did a great job on tuning my LS2 6.0L clubbie, it was impressive to see the owners (frank and mick) put in so much effort to get the results i was looking for. WELL DONE GUYS. Still alot more to go, but as it stands the car is an awesome package now and certainly moves!

We havn't yet but we have three in line.
Im keeping the pressure on HP Tuners for the 2 bar operating system so we can do the job right.
