Yeah, but at the end of all this madness at least you'll have a car you can sell. Although you will lose money, there is always the possibility that you might still come out in front.

The price of petrol will stabilise and people will still buy V8's ... I'm an optimist ;)

You do realise that if these things become common that AIR will become taxable.

Pretty impressive ! Now if they just hook up the compressor to solar paint to run it being developed by DaimlerChrysler you won't need petrol at all. PS the torque curve is in Italian grr.
