I saw about 20 of these going down waterworks road, the gap this morning. they all had victorian number plates, and there were commodores at the front and back of the group. they look pretty nice in my opinion. i'd say there going to be pretty popular.

It is a chick's car. Only a two seater, one seat for them, the other for their handbag. ;)
It should compete against the older design of the Peugeot 206 CC hard top convertible seen here (http://www.peugeot.com.au/PEUGEOT/AU/me.get?site.sectionshow&FFFF1040)
But if you're a guy and you're driving the Tigra, then I think it's safe to say you must be 'flaming'. :p

It's not a Daewoo. It is based on the Vauxhall/Opel Corsa AKA the Barina here. Fifth Gear did a test - Vicky Butler Henderson - and she very much liked it, despite thinking the Vauxhall Corsa is a dog.
With the Astra's 1.8 in a smallish car, Astra 5-bolt ABS brakes, sportier suspension and a massve boot with the top up it goes, stops and handles good; and plenty of tricko stuff like leather, cool sound system etc. the only whinge she had was the new corporate console and clustered switches which are too fussy.
Even Clarkson likes it:

I like it - if I had to chose a small car to drive, that'd have to be up there ...
