Yeah went into the Holden dealership up here in Darwin and there was a couple sitting in there and yeah i was like are they meant to be here??

That's weird. I saw one driving around Newcastle (Kotara for the locals) 2 days ago without any plates on. It may have had a trade plate somewhere, but I couldn't see it. It was definitely the new Viva, though. The Holden badge was very clear too, so it wasn't a Daewoo.

It was definitely the Holden released version of the Daewoo that I saw :)

At least the hatch looks different, but I question the sense in leaving the old Lacetti front end styling on the Viva sedan and wagon.

yea same here, they should've carried the hatch's styling right across the range otherwise ppl may think it looks familiar. oh i dunno, does anyone here really care that its a rebadged 'woo... after all, korean quality isnt as bad as it used to be??

the Barina (Daewoo Kalos) will be out on October 9, yes hatch only. 3 and 5 door and 1.5L. I was hoping we got the new T250 Genta but apparently we're getting the T200 (i think thats it). seems pointless to ship over an old model that ppl will recognize as a 'woo.

Seems to me to be a bit of a step backwards to go from the current Barina to a current Daewoo. Be interesting to see what pricing will be applied, formally and informally.
