Warning light on dash

Hi All,

I have a 2001 VX SS. Today while driving home I noticed a warning light on my dash where the temp gauge is, its the little owertrain light with lightning bolt through it.

I looked in the manual seems its the powertrain module warning light, says in the manual something about the poertrain computer module or a problemw with the auto transmission, and it is an auto.

I am going to get it looked at tomorrow, any of you guys had this or know what the possible cause may be, obviously its one of the 2 problems above, hopefully nothing too sinister. More money. Already booked in to get it looked at, just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

if the car is still running pretty much normal then should be only a minor sensor problem.

Yeah mate this one has been asked 1000 times ( even by me ) Do a search you will find heaps of info , but you should get it checked ASAP.
