Can anyone recommend a good car detailer in Adelaide? My CV8 is in a wedding in four weeks time and I want to get swirl marks removed (its Phantom Mica), interior, exterior and engine bay done.

Cheers,

Chesso

dont be lazy you guys, do it yourself. I use maguires tech wax on my three black cars, this product is the first in many many years I have used that does not leave swirls, also does not leave that fine powder when finished, cover the whole car {in shade of coarse} crack a can, then wipe it off. cheese cloth is very good, any scratches that are still visible rub more on that area with pressure & wipe off while still damp, keep going until mark has gone. trust me it works. three shiny black cars in my garage cheers:whip:

I find they are all hit and miss. I had a really good job done at Adelaide Car Care Marion Rd. The guy cleaned everything to perfection which isn't easy on a black car. Engine, calipers, tray, spare wheel (??). It cost 199 but I was happy to pay cause it looked like new.
Took it back there next time.....different guys, sh*thouse job. Swirl marks, wheels were dirty, calipers were dirty, interior had only been wiped with a wet cloth etc etc and the fkr still wanted 179!! I got them to finish the wheels while I waited and heard all the excuses "that's allright" "Black is hard to clean" "Never get it cleaner than that"...blah blah blah. I know its hard, that's why its here!!!!

So I've decided fk it I'll do it myself!

That didn't help you at all did it!!! :lmao:

Another vote here for the Meguires tech wax, easy to put on easier to take off and never ceases to amaze me with the finish. One of the best of-the-shelf waxes around.
